Inc., operating as Bona Fide Studio (“Bona Fide”, “we”, “us”), is a branding, strategy and web design studio located at 232 Botsford Street, 2nd Floor, Office 205, Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through bonafidestudio.ca and our advertising on third-party platforms, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable Canadian privacy law.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in a form on our website, submit a lead form in one of our advertisements on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram), book a call, or contact us by email or phone, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the answers you give to our questions about your business.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website we collect limited technical information through cookies and similar technologies, including pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and the referring page. We use the Meta Pixel, which allows Meta to collect information about your visit to our website to measure the performance of our advertising and to show you relevant advertisements on Meta platforms. Information collected by the Meta Pixel is also subject to Meta’s privacy policy.
How we use your information
We use personal information to respond to your inquiry, to schedule and hold the consultation you requested, to prepare proposals and deliver services you engage us for, to send you information about our services where you have agreed to receive it, to measure and improve our website and advertising, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing your information
We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate our business, and only to the extent needed: Meta Platforms (advertising and lead forms), our website hosting provider, Microsoft 365 (email, calendar and document storage), and our booking and scheduling tools. Some of these providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law. Lead and inquiry information that does not result in an engagement is deleted or anonymized within 24 months.

Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls and a password manager for all shared credentials. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
